Edit: After some feedback and my own dissatisfaction with the readability of the page, I've split this one into two pages. I hope you all like it better! Hope of the Horizon Page 7 is coming sometime between now and the 15th so be on the lookout!

A new page, a new title!

"Horizon's Story" was just a bit plain and was kind of a filler title. I hope you enjoy the new one!

So... Yeah... I postponed this one twice and then was still a week late from my second postpone... I won't make any excuses, but know that my life's been busy and this page was really difficult for me.

On the other side I also had a lot of fun with this page once I got accustomed to the canine proportions again. And once I got over drawing small. I'm not about drawing small. I think it physically pains me. Or maybe that's just my hand cramping up, idk.

Meadow moves to save Leaf-fall, but another dog jumps out of the bushes and slams her down. Horizon watches on, too scared to move. The sounds echo through the trees. Then Wolfthorn barks twice more, with lots of command, and another dog barks back. But as it happens, it's too late for Leaf-fall's little tail. It snaps off as the collie-mix jerks his head up. The whole scene freezes with the white dog letting Meadow go, looking at the doberman in confusion. The dark collie mix also looks at the collie, but holds onto Leaf-fall's tail. Wolfthorn and the doberman have a staring contest.

The only dog here I have a name for is the doberman, whose name is Blue. Blue is girl, and she shows up in the actual RP, which is why I chose to put her here. It adds some depth to what went down.

I recently bought a prismacolor colored pencil accessory set, which came with a blending marker. Which is what I used on the background. I think it did wonders for the overall look of the page!

Estimated time taken: 31 hrs total = 20 hrs of drawing + 7 hrs of coloring + 3 hours of line cleaning + 1 hr of photoshop words.
